Cynthia DeLaPeña appointed as Label Manager of One City Music

Updated: Nov 20, 2023

Little Elm, Texas - Cynthia has over 21 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a focus in marketing and development. She is responsible for developing San Antonio DJ and producer AXE6. She is also active in the non-profit sector in the following roles: Gabriella’s Smile Foundation Development Chair; Big Brothers Big Sisters Board of Directors; and an active member of the American Marketing Association.

Combining her experience in communications, outreach, and developing the brand of artists, DeLaPeña will be instrumental in developing the music marketing and strategic development planning for the One City Music Group roster.

When asked about joining OCMG, DeLaPeña stated, "I'm excited to join the One City Music Group (OCMG) team in their mission to create and provide dance music to the masses. OCMG and its sub-labels have a legacy of providing the music industry with numerous genres of game-changing dance music. I'm ready to work with our growing artist roster to help foster long-term partnerships and deliver unwavering success. My efforts expand over six years of artist management and development, maximizing online social presence, creating music marketing campaigns, and event curation."

Label founder Brandon Webb helped the imprint grow to 24 artists by Summer 2022 and rack up over 500,000 streams. DeLaPeña will build a strategy that targets the artists' brand alongside the distribution of their music to DSPs.

Webb said, "I have had the pleasure of working with Cynthia for over two as live music returned to stages across the country. Cynthia has gained respect within One City Music Group, and her official appointment as Director will establish our artist and catalog transformation strategy. She is familiar with our current roster and has developed solid relationships with many OCMG artists before officially joining the team. With the addition of Cynthia, I am excited about the future and growth of One City Music Group.
