EDM DFW Announces Road To One City: OKC Lineup

One City Music & Art Festival, hosted by EDM DFW, Trill Talk Radio, and Hip Hop DFW announced eight artists and one band for their Oklahoma City party. The Road to One City: OKC features: MadHatter!, Trip G, D.J. Reaper, Cartwright, Albatrozz, Blud Brothers, Melee Max, Jon Jonez, Split Personality, and MVNKEE. The party has something for everyone.


The mixed genre party features a jazz band hailing from Tennessee plus Hip Hop artists and DJ’s from the states of Oklahoma and Texas. Road to One City: OKC is the second show touting the One City name which leads to the annual festival in September of 2018. The knowledge gained from hands-on experience at the initial festival, spurred the “Road To One City” series. The first show launched in Denton, TX at Backyard on Bell. One city sticks with the mixed genre experience to support the region’s diverse music scene. You can find art and various types of music at One City shows.

The sounds of Jazz, Soul, Hip-Hop, Live Instrumentation, Dubstep, Riddim, and Trap are showcased on the diverse lineup. Support for the local music scene is a staple of One City Music and Art Festival. Four of Oklahoma City’s own a represented including Oklahoma Hip Hop Awards winner, Trip G. Santray Long, aka Trip G, took home Best Hip Hop Single and Best Hip Hop Video at the December 2017 awards show. Texas is represented with MadHatter, a San Antonio native bringing live instruments to his DJ set. Dallas-Fort Worth is represented with Five DJ’s/Producers including Albatrozz and Blud Brothers. The connection between OKC and DFW is bonded through music with the Road to One City show.

A vibrant and young crowd frequents The Plaza District, the home of The Venue OKC. The energetic community is full of entertainment and food options leading up to the show. The high foot traffic extends to the surrounding neighborhood not just the Plaza sidewalks. The multi functioning venue host performing arts events, concerts and art exhibits and more. The party starts at 8pm and lasts until 4am ensuring music fans have an opportunity to enjoy several hours of music.
